Vixercise.com (webcam workout website idea) Though I can't possibly be the first to come up with the basic idea for "webcam workouts" it might be possible that I'm the first to come up with this specific, creative execution. I originated it about 4 years ago (Damon and some coworkers at Bodog can attest) but only recently have I registered some domains. That was because I would soon be pitching the idea to execs in a division of IAC. Using common webcams our customers take video workouts to the next level with personalized coaching and encouragement from centralized instructors. Envision it for the iPad2 with its built-in webcamera and linked to a big screen tv. "4 Vid" format shows realtime Video Streams: 1) instructor (like successful "P90x" dvds) 2) You (for later review/ improvement) 3) Coach (giving you face-to-face inspiration) 4) Featured Classmate (for recognition/fame) Business Model: Users buy credits to pay for classes (these expire after 30 days). Credits used earn "InvitePoints" (like credit card miles) to give to friends (and thus recruit customers). Twist: If you don't use at least 5 credits per month there is a $20 penalty. We want you to actually use the classes & get fit!
